Author Daniel Couzens

Daniel Couzens is a roofer by trade and has worked alongside his father and brother for 20 years in the family roofing business. Daniel has two sons aged 8 and 9, one of whom does not like books or reading at all and the other who loves them, and they are the reason Daniel wrote his first picture book. Daniel’s youngest (the one who loves books) is learning disabled and loves the Julia Donaldson books hence the rhyming context in The Slug Who Flew. Daniel is working on two more picture books.
