Illustrator David Pavón

David Pavón started his career as an illustrator in 2013 after releasing his first 2D animated short, which was selected for more than 100 film festivals around the world and won awards. He has always liked to draw and create cartoons like the ones he saw on TV, so decided to study Fine Arts in Granada (Spain) and animated film in Madrid. His illustrations are inspired by drawings from the 60s, 70s and 80s and by illustrations from children’s books that he has read. He loves working with colours, lights and creating fun and unique character designs. He has worked for companies such as Disney, Planeta, SM, Mattel and Penguin RH among others, and hopes to work for many more on projects that are fun, original and interesting.
