Illustrator Rebel Challenger

Rebel Challenger is an artist and wildlife carer who lives on a leafy acreage property — shared generously with a flock of chickens. A newspaper graphic designer by day and children’s book illustrator by night, Rebel exists in a constant state of curiosity, creativity and occasional confusion. Her drawings often reflect this, with joyous characters who seem to wonder how they’ve landed in the wild and wacky adventures of children’s literature. Rebel has illustrated picture books, junior fiction and graphic novels, and is the author of one picture book (so far!).
