Illustrator Zhang Yue

Zhang Yue is a teacher at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, an illustrator and a picture book author. She holds an MA in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London, graduating with honours. Her accolades include the Silver Award in the Book Category of the iJungle 2024 Illustration Competition, the Merit Award at the American Illustration 33 Competition, the Silver Award at the 2nd Bronze Sunflower Book Awards, and selection for the 2025 Bologna Illustrators Exhibition, among others. Passionate about observing and engaging with life through
sketching, she draws inspiration from everyday experiences and enjoys experimenting with different mediums in her creative process. Her published original picture books include Woof! Woof!! Woof!!!, The Logic of Porcelain: Understanding Ceramics Through Colour and An Ordinary Day in Britain.
